Hanuš Lamr (*1976 in Prague)
|
In 2002, after majoring in jewelry and sculpture at university, he graduated from The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague as a member of the studio of V.K. Novak. He then visited Israel and Germany as an intern. His work is inspired by nature, the world of plants, and presents an exceptional and fantastic micro-world that easily transports its observers between the adventures of naturalists and those of traveling explorers. He often collaborates with his wife Zlatka on various artistic projects. Zlatka Lamrová has been dedicated to original embroidery and textile design for many years. Hanuš's work is represented in numerous private collections, as well as in official institutions such as the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. Madeleine Albright also wore one of his brooches. In 2019, he created the “Collection” tiara for the National Museum on the anniversary of its establishment. The tiara became part of the permanent collection. Most recently, he aroused great interest with his original brooch for Czech Republic First Lady Eva Pavlová.
